Heritage
Rooted in craft. Inspired by legacy.

The Merchant
My great-great-grandfather journeyed from India with little more than knowledge and determination. He began selling clothing on local market stalls, building a reputation for honest trade, authentic materials, and deep textile knowledge.
What started small grew into one of the regions largest cotton mill and knitwear wholesalers across the UK and shaping a legacy built on both craft and commerce.

The Painter
Where quiet beauty began.
My grandmother was a fine artist, humble, skilled, and deeply observant. She painted in oil and pastel with quiet precision, often from memory, capturing the stillness of nature and the soul of everyday life. Her work was never loud or showy, but it held extraordinary technical mastery. She painted not for attention, but because it was who she was.
Her creative presence shaped my earliest understanding of beauty: gentle, layered, and lasting.

The Potter
A life built by hand.
My mother is an internationally recognised ceramic artist, known for her organic forms, earthy tones, and unmistakable style. Her work has been exhibited in galleries across Paris, New York, Ibiza.
Growing up, I watched her shape clay with both discipline and instinct. She taught me that craft is a commitment, that creative work is a long conversation between material, maker, and meaning.

Early Inspirations
Inspired by timeworn beauty and thoughtful making
The Shoreline
A second home of the heart.
I spent long stretches of time in New England as a child, especially along the coastline. My family considered moving there permanently, and in many ways, a part of me still lives there. The calm pace, weathered homes, and connection to the land left a lasting mark.
What stayed with me most were the interiors, linen curtains drifting in the breeze, sun-faded quilts, painted floorboards, and natural textures that felt both simple and deeply lived in. Everything had a softness and quiet honesty.
That blend of nature, material, and restraint continues to shape how I work today, from the fabrics I love to the feeling I try to create in every space.
The Homeland
Character lived within
Growing up in beautiful old English country homes, I was surrounded by art in every form, textiles, painting, floristry, pottery. These spaces were full of quiet storytelling and history, layered with worn oak, patterned fabrics, and the patina of time. They weren’t styled, they were lived in. Rooted.
Those homes shaped how I see interior space today: as something timeless, tactile, and deeply connected to nature and memory. It’s where my love for materials began, not as decoration, but as inheritance.
The Florist
Where nature was art, and beauty grew from memory.
Floristry runs deep in my family, passed down from my great grandmother to my grandmother. But it wasn’t only about the shop. Her garden was just as rich, overflowing with colour, scent, and stories.
Today, florals continue to shape how I design. They appear in the prints I create, the patterns I sketch, the palettes I build. Whether through fine art, fabric, or interiors, I carry that legacy forward, where flowers are more than decoration. They are memory, connection, and the quiet language I’ve always spoken.
The Rider
Trained by instinct, guided by nature.
Horses have always been part of my world, early mornings in the stables, the raw scent of the countryside. That’s where I learned patience, instinct, and quiet connection.
Equestrian life taught me discipline and sensitivity, a balance I bring into my creative work. The textures of the countryside still echo through my palettes and prints. It shaped my eye, and it steadied my hand. I carry it with me, always.

Career
Where tradition meets practice
The Designer
Carrying it forward.
My path began in graphic design, branding, print, and visual storytelling. I developed a strong foundation in visual composition, typography, and digital layout. Over time, that grew into seamless pattern design, surface illustration, and eventually, interior concept development.
I work fluently across software platforms including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), SketchUp, procreate allowing me to bring ideas to life both visually and strategically, from early concept to polished presentation.
Alongside the creative, I’ve always been deeply engaged in the sales and business side of design. Whether presenting collections at events or pitching products to independent shops and interior studios, I’ve gained hands-on experience in selling design with purpose. I’ve worked directly with clients to understand their needs, guide their vision, and offer tailored solutions, from bespoke prints and homeware to full room schemes.
I draw from natural history, antique textiles, and personal memory to create collections that feel layered, lived-in, and commercially resonant. Every print, fabric, and space I create is built with the same care I saw in the women before me: thoughtful, quiet, and made to last, with the clarity and communication skills needed to sell it with confidence.
The Builder
I trained in graphic design and print, then expanded into interiors and 3D visualisation, learning to translate story into space.
At various design firms, I worked on luxury residential projects, including homes for footballers and high-end developers, managing schemes from concept through to completion. I collaborated with construction teams, delivered client presentations, and produced visuals that brought ideas to life with both clarity and charm.
Quiet strength took hold
Sales & Storytelling
Guiding eyes, shaping decisions, honouring the craft.
Selling has always been more than a transaction, it’s about building trust, communicating value, and creating meaningful connections. I’ve represented brands across events, exhibitions, ecommerce platforms, and B2B settings, tailoring the message to suit each audience.
From bespoke artwork and interiors to print collections and homeware, I’ve sold directly to customers and wholesale buyers alike, guiding them through the story behind each piece, managing enquiries, and securing sales both in person and online. Whether working with independent artists, interior designers, or architectural studios, my focus is on delivering thoughtful, informed service that feels personal and professional.
“Good design is felt before it’s understood”
Events & Exhibitions
Connecting people to design through curated experience.
Between 2018 and 2024, I curated pop-ups, exhibitions, and brand events for design firms, architects, and studios, including showcases in Surrey and Clerkenwell, Palma, Majorca. I led on concept creation, install planning, and on-site presentation, always aligning visuals with brand story.
I had the pleasure of working with Jigsaw project Services where we developed and delivered a full-scale concept for Under Armour (Frasers group), managing everything from design, client relations through to execution. My focus is always on creating events that are immersive, engaging, and commercially impactful, blending creative vision with project management and client care.
Rooted & Refined
Heritage carried forward through thoughtful design.
Today, I carry that lineage into everything I create from interiors and pattern collections to prints and product styling. I work with private clients, studios, and retailers who value authenticity, beauty, and the principles of slow design.
My style is grounded in English heritage, layered with the quiet elegance of New England simplicity.
